“Now is the winter of our discontent
Made glorious summer by this company of Oddsocks”

Oddsocks make a welcome return to Warwick International Festival in 2009, with one of Shakespeare's most epic histories Richard III.

The mead is flowing freely as medieval England rejoices in the summer glow of peace after many years of vicious in-fighting between the houses of York and Lancaster. Songs are sung and music plays in the cheerful court of King Edward….

…..But not for long!

Suspicions are roused, rumours and rife and murders are meticulously planned. Richard, Duke of Gloucester has avaricious intentions on his brother’s crown and his treacherous methods make Machiavelli look like Mickey Mouse.

Monstrous characters are brought outrageously to life amid the music, mayhem and comic chaos created by the multi-talented Oddsocks team. Another must-see production from this outstanding company who this year celebrate their twentieth year of successful productions.

You'd be a Shakespearean fool to miss out!
